About School
Rama school of yoga was conceived with a goal to spread the knowledge of Yoga Teachers Training. Our school offers 200 hours of Yoga Teachers Training Certification (TTC) that is authorized and approved by international organization, Yoga Alliance.
Our school follows ancient knowledge of Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga training and practice for students belonging to any country. Our yoga methodologies and materials are structured to accommodate students who are new to Yoga practice as well. However, before joining the training, we encourage the students to attain some basic information about Yoga.
The Yoga TTC will enable you to start your own Yoga Studio or Yoga School globally. You can also conduct Yoga classes or sessions for Individuals and Corporates. Even after completion of Yoga TTC, we recommend the certified teachers to dedicate themselves in the practice religiously for a higher purpose and evolution.

Nisha Ahya
A professional Yoga Instructor with a special expertise in the field of Hatha / Hatha Flow Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Kids Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Anatomy, Pranayama and Yoga Nidra.
First tried out yoga when I was 13 as a part of one of the fitness activities during my schooling. But once grown, got busy with life & career and had stopped practicing yoga. There came a time when life was ruled by stress, tensions and earning so much seemed worthless. That is when I stopped to breathe and realized I was missing on living life. I unrolled my yoga mat and got back to my self-practice. I started feeling in harmony with myself. The amazing feeling of mindfulness and ‘being present in the moment’ is what draws me go back to my mat constantly. The power of yoga then ignited the spark in me to share this practice with my family and friends. I obtained my education from various places (Rishikesh, Madurai, Chennai, and Mysore). I am also an Anti-Gravity fitness trainer, as came across some excellent results of this training when used for treating certain spinal problems as well as helping beginners work on their strength and flexibility faster.

ABOUT VARKALA
Varkala is a coastal town and municipality in Thiruvananthapuram district situated in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the suburban town of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum city). It is located 50 kilometres (approx. 32 miles) north-west of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) and 37 km south-west of Kollam city.
Varkala is the only place in southern Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea. These Cenozoic sedimentary formation cliffs are a unique geological feature on the otherwise flat Kerala coast, and is known among geologists as Varkala Formation and a geological monument as declared by the Geological Survey of India. There are numerous water spouts and spas on the sides of these cliffs. In 2015, Ministry of Mines, Government of India and Geological Survey of India (GSI) have declared Varkala Cliff as a geo-heritage site.
Varkala is also famous for the 2,000-year-old Janardana Swami Temple which is an important Vaishnavaite shrine in India and is often referred to as Dakshin Kashi (Benares of the South). The temple is located close to the Papanasam beach, which is considered to have holy waters which wash away sins, and is also an important Ayurveda treatment centre. The temple has an ancient bell removed from a shipwreck, donated by the captain of the Dutch vessel which sank near Varkala without causing any casualties.
Another major landmark in Varkala is the Sivagiri Mutt, established by the social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. The hill-top mausoleum of Sree Narayana Guru is one of the most famous monuments in Kerala.
